Fluid Ai Art: Fluid Figures in AI Videos and Images
Today I'm testing out some fluid art in AI image and video generators.

Fluid AI art is the use of artificial intelligence to create digital representations of fluid materials in dynamic and artistic ways. This style of art captures the properties of liquids such as flow, viscosity and translucency to create beautiful images. Key features are the realistic texture of the liquid, the motion and the play of light and shadow. This type of art uses advanced algorithms and rendering techniques to simulate the behavior of different fluids and the result is stunning visuals that are both realistic and creative. In this post we will use milk, paint and honey as a medium, highlighting their colors and textures as dancers.
I've initially selected a theme of a female dancer made of milk and another one who is made of oil paint. The expected result ideally is a visual depicting a surreal sculpture of a woman made entirely of a creamy, milk-like substance, mid-dance, in an expressive, graceful posture. The liquid would form around her in dynamic splashes and waves, to create a sense of motion and fluidity.
Fluid AI Art in Haiper
The company's fresh out of the oven text-to-image generator realized this idea quite well:

Haiper was then asked to generate a video with such a scene, promted:
woman made entirely of milk dancing and changing her pose
woman made entirely of milk dancing and changing her pose while standing in a glass of milk
these were the results:

The liquid dynamic is great, women seem to almost be made of milk, though there are hints at them simply being covered with milk. Anatomy in motion is suffering a little of disfigurement in the arms mostly but generally I'd say this is very close to achieving the desired effect, despite prompts being very basic and undetailed.
Next up was paint. Purple, naturally. Who doesn't like purple? Not me. Anyway, this was the prompt:
woman made entirely of liquid purple paint dancing and changing her pose, spinning around gracefully

But while images are very expressive, the animated version of this text prompt yielded not the best result, again, due to physical abnormalities.
Prompt:
woman made entirely of liquid purple paint dancing and changing her pose, spinning around gracefully

Towards the end of this extended video it was starting to show that the woman was definitely not made of paint but simply covered in it and you could see more of her hair and skin coming through as paint kept falling off. Still, i think the generations are promising, they're on the right track.
It's kind of logical if you think about it, that if a woman is made of paint, and paint then why can't parts of her body behave like paint and fall to the ground? This is consistency, and I guess it requires additional training for surreal art purposes.
At least we know Haiper's AI gets what 'entirely made of' means. This is not quite the case with Kling.
Fluid AI Art in Kling
Kling has done a good job crafting a video from the two Haiper's images, btw:

But when textually prompted the same as Haiper:
woman made entirely of milk dancing and changing her pose gracefully
Came up with women dressed in white, one of them rotating her head like an owl:

Still, to be fair, anatomy is excellent in Kling and movements are for the most part realistic, without disfigurement, although kind of funny.
Oil paint theme came out better, especially with additional details supplied in the 2nd prompt. First only said woman was made of paint, but second then stressed on the paint's dynamic.
woman made entirely of liquid purple paint dancing and changing her pose
woman made entirely of liquid purple paint dancing and changing her pose, liquid art, fluid animation, paint flying around, splashes, droplets in motion

Kling is quite comfortable generating images that could be considered NSFW by some. Not explicit nudity but seductive and implied nudity. When I prompted its image generator to see how it will do with static depiction of fluid stuff, it painted this:

Next I decided to check how it will animate one of the images, this time using image+text prompt:
woman dancing around gracefully as purple paint gets splashed at her from all sides and poured on top, fluid animation, paint flying around, splashes, droplets in motion

Ok, no, thank you! We'll take the static images then. And how did she change from wearing nothing but paint to wearing skinny jeans to then back to bare legs in 5 seconds? Good that I'm trying these out in Standard mode for only 10 credits per generation.
Anyway, what I also noticed was that 'woman made entirely of' wasn't working as reliably in Kling as it was in Haiper. Here, I'm feeling, once AI 'reads' that the subject involved is a woman, all atributes of the woman superseed anything she's supposedly 'made of'. "Ok, a dancing woman, eh? I know what it is! What's that about milk, paint, honey or ink? Ok, so she can be 'covered in' that then or she can wear it as a dress. There!"

Better success rate was achieved by rephrasing the prompt from 'woman made of' to 'something taking the shape of a woman'.
Milk, shaped like a woman, takes on a mid-dance pose with arms outstretched in an expressive, joyful posture. The liquid forms around her in dynamic splashes and waves, creating a sense of motion and fluidity. The entire scene is monochromatic, with the milk-like substance and background blending in a soft, creamy white. The artwork blends elegance and surrealism, as the fluid material defines the woman's shape and reacts to her movements. Rendered in best quality, 8K.

Fluid AI Art in Runway
Well, in Runway Gen-3 it was very much similar story with women of flesh and blood being covered in rather than made of liquids.

The last one, which was prompted as milk, shaped as dancing woman, rather than woman made of milk, offered some interesting liquid motion dynamics down the woman's waist. There was a nice overall animation of liquid flying around in the air. You can see all four videos below:
