Transform Images to 3D with Krea

This is a platform I've been meaning to explore and cover but just haven't gotten to it yet. And I still haven't explored it in depth, but this latest feature drop has compelled me to make at least a short post about it.

Krea is an online creative platform and like an all-in-one hub powered by AI to help you whip up stunning images and videos in no time.

They’ve partnered with top AI video platforms like Kling and Runway to bring a mix of video models under one roof.

KREA's Image to 3D to Image

So Krea rolled out a feature that takes an image, transforms it into 3D and lets you bring it back to life as an image in a new scene. It’s crazy cool!

This is how you do it:

Step 1: Generate an Image
Start by creating an object like a nice luxury car on a plain solid gray background. Once you've picked your favorite option download it to use for the next step.

Step 2: Real-Time Edits
In the real-time generation section the fun begins. You get a basic setup you can tweak. Like swap in a forest road background for your car. After dragging the car onto the canvas you can use the background removal tool and convert the car into 3D—super fast!

Step 3: Customizing the 3D Scene
Now here’s where it gets wild. After converting the car into 3D you can rotate it, zoom in, or even make it larger. Changing the background? Sure. One click and you have a winter forest or a desert. The scene adapts like it’s reading your mind.

You can even throw in extra shapes like adding a circle, coloring it yellow, and voilà — it’s a sun. The tool figures out what you’re doing and adjusts everything to look natural.

If you’re in advertising, animation, or anything creative, this tool could save you so much time. I imagine educators would benefit form such presentations as well. It’s fast, intuitive, and honestly kind of addictive. Plus, Krea’s free plan gives you 50 image generations and 10 videos per day to test it out.
